At Murmurat®, we help organizations navigate complexity—moving from paralysis to purpose. As a Systems Strategist, you’ll work at the intersection of ecology, business, and design, uncovering hidden patterns and helping clients make informed, responsible choices.

What you’ll do

• Map out complex systems—ecological, economic, organizational—to reveal structure, dynamics, and potential leverage points
• Lead and support strategic engagements, from research to workshops to executive reporting
• Translate messy inputs (research, data, interviews, field observations) into clear, actionable insights
• Co-create future scenarios and system interventions with clients and internal teams
• Help clients gain clarity and confidence in the face of uncertainty
• Support internal knowledge development and frameworks to evolve Murmurat’s methodology

What you’ll need

• Proven experience in systems thinking, strategic design, futures thinking, or complexity science
• Ability to connect abstract thinking with practical outcomes
• Strong facilitation and communication skills—both visual and verbal
• Comfort working across disciplines (e.g. ecology, business, design, policy)
• Curiosity, humility, and a collaborative mindset
• Tools: familiarity with Miro, Figma, system mapping tools (e.g. Kumu, Loopy), or a willingness to learn
